Terms of Service

The rules for using robinhood.bio: what the service is, what "lifetime" means, and what you may not do with a page.

Draft - not legal advice. For review by counsel before launch.Last updated 5 Sep 2026

1. The service

robinhood.bio ("the service") lets you claim a username, build a public identity page at robinhood.bio/<username> and link it to a wallet address on Robinhood Chain. The service is operated by the operator of this site ("we", "us").

You sign in with a wallet signature (Sign-In with Ethereum). There is no password and no email requirement. You are responsible for the wallet you sign with; we cannot recover a page whose wallet you lost unless you set up a recovery factor in Settings.

Every page is free while we prepare our own token on Robinhood Chain. Until that token launches there is nothing to pay: no page is paused and no username is released for non-payment. When it launches, keeping a page will be a one-time payment in TOKEN, and the free period and the 7 days pause window described below start applying from then. Claim now and your page stays free for life.

2. What "lifetime" means

"Lifetime" and "forever" mean for as long as the service operates. The lifetime plan is a single payment for the lifetime of the service, not a promise that the service will exist indefinitely. It is not a subscription, and there are no renewal fees.

If we discontinue the service we will give at least 30 days' notice on the site and provide a data export. No refund is owed for a discontinued service beyond what applicable consumer law requires.

We may change the domain the service runs on. Your username and page move with it.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use a page to:

  • impersonate a person, project, company or exchange, or suggest an affiliation you do not have;
  • distribute malware, phishing links, wallet drainers, fake airdrops or seed-phrase requests;
  • promote scams, pump-and-dump schemes or unregistered securities offerings;
  • publish illegal content, harassment, hate speech or sexual content involving minors;
  • automate claims, or register names in bulk with no intention of using them (selling a name you hold is allowed - see the username policy);
  • scrape the service or circumvent rate limits, privacy switches or the link scanner.

4. Username policy

Usernames are 3-30 characters (a-z, 0-9, _ and -), case-insensitive. Names that resemble an existing name through look-alike characters are rejected. Route names, brand names, well-known handles and dangerous words (for example "support", "official", "airdrop") are reserved and cannot be claimed.

Short names (3-4 characters) are premium: they skip the free period and require payment first.

A username is yours while your page is active. When a page is released (unpaid after the grace period, deleted by you, or unpublished for a violation) the name enters a quarantine and returns to the pool. A renamed page's old name redirects to the new one for a limited time and is then released.

Impersonation claims are reviewed under the moderation section below. We may transfer or release a username that is used to impersonate someone, and we may reclaim a username needed for the operation of the service, in which case we will offer a replacement name and, for paid pages, a refund. This power applies to names held on the service; a name you have minted is governed by the next section instead.

5. Minted names

You can optionally mint your username as a token on Robinhood Chain. Minting is not required: a page works exactly the same without it.

A minted name is rented, not bought. Registration lasts one year and can be renewed at any time, by you or by anyone willing to pay on your behalf. The price is the same for every name regardless of length, and is set on the contract in the chain's native currency to track the published rate. Rent is not refundable.

There is no grace period. When a registration lapses the name becomes available to anyone immediately, and your page stops being served at that address. Renew before the expiry date shown on your page.

The token is an ordinary NFT: you may transfer or sell it, and whoever holds it controls the name. We take no cut of a sale and cannot collect one - the royalty the collection declares is honoured only if the marketplace and the seller choose to. When a name changes hands the page content does not travel with it; the new holder starts from an empty page.

We cannot take a minted name back. There is no administrator function to seize, freeze or reassign one, which is deliberate. If a minted name is used to impersonate someone we can unpublish the page it points to and remove it from the service, but the token stays with its holder until it expires.

6. Reports and moderation

Anyone can report a page. Reports are reviewed by a person. We may unpublish a page, remove individual links, or release a username when a page violates these terms. We log moderation actions and will tell the page owner what happened when we can reach them.

Outbound links are scanned before publication and periodically afterwards. Links that fail the scan are hidden until they pass again. We do not guarantee that a scanned link is safe.

7. No financial advice

Nothing on the service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Onchain statistics shown on a page (transaction counts, wallet age, contract counts) are derived from public blockchain data, may be delayed or incomplete, and are shown for identity purposes only. Do not make financial decisions based on a page.

No payment method is active today. When our token launches, paying will mean a transfer you sign yourself on Robinhood Chain. We never hold your keys and never ask for a seed phrase.

8. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and limit our liability to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the site at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
